Las de la Intuición

"Las de la Intuición" by Shakira is a synth-pop and Euro house track from her album Fijación Oral Vol. 1 (2005). Written and produced by Shakira with co-composer Luis Fernando Ochoa and additional production by Lester Mendez, it explores the theme of female intuition. Released as the fourth single in February 2007, it received positive reviews for its lyrics and production. The song was particularly successful in Spain, where it topped the Airplay chart and achieved top ten positions on the Downloads and Original Tones charts. It earned a five-times Platinum certification for selling 100,000 ringtones and was named the song of the summer in 2007 in Spain. It also charted in Russia and Venezuela.

The music video for "Las de la Intuición" was directed by Shakira and Jaume de Laiguana, filmed in Miami, Florida. Inspired by Helmut Newton's photography, it features Shakira in various provocative outfits including a purple wig, garter belts, and high heels. The video shows her performing and dancing to the track, with scenes of her applying perfume, playing guitar, and dancing alongside four similarly dressed dancers. It premiered globally on May 7, 2007, showcasing a bold new look for Shakira. The video was released on iTunes a week later and included as a bonus on Shakira's Oral Fixation Tour album. Items from the video, like the guitar and wig, were auctioned in 2008 for charity, benefitting Shakira's Barefoot Foundation.
