Grandes Éxitos
"Grandes Éxitos" is the debut greatest hits album by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira, released on November 2, 2002, through Sony Music Colombia. Following her English-language debut album "Laundry Service" by a year, it comprises Spanish-language tracks from her third, fourth, and fifth studio albums: "Pies Descalzos" (1995), "Dónde Están los Ladrones?" (1998), and "Laundry Service" (2001), as well as selections from her live album "MTV Unplugged" (2000). Notably, the album does not include any new recordings and omits songs from her first two studio albums, "Magia" and "Peligro".
Despite featuring only previously released material, "Grandes Éxitos" achieved moderate commercial success. It was certified double-platinum (for Latin recordings) by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), indicating shipments of 200,000 copies.
